Our Loving Home
We are a small family nestled in the high mountians of Southern Oregon. The puppies you are viewing come from our second litter. We chose to breed our two Champion Rat Terriers. This is not only our second litter but our last as well. Lizzie (mother) was adopted from a 3 generation breeder from Colorado. Tucker (father) was adopted from a breeder you can trace back to the 1950's from California. The father is from a Champion Bloodline which is noticeable when you see his face.
JAX-ADOPTED
Birth date 12-5-16
Born first and the largest of the puppies. He is the most active and playful of all. His estimated full grown weight is between 19-22 lbs. He is moslty all Blue with tri color Pearl and White Highlights. His belly is all white but outlined in Pearl which then wraps around and fades into his mostly blue coat. Check out his cool speckled nose. He is going to be a high energy easily trained companion. His dewclaws have been removed and his tail has been docked. He will arrive with his first set of vaccines and a health certificate from our local vet.
SPROCKET
ADOPTION PENDING
Born 12-5-16. Sprocket was very tiny when he was born. We had to help him nurse the first 3 hours as he was too weak. He is a healthy happy puppy but is still the smallest male puppy. His dewclaws have been removed and is tail has been docked. He will come with his first set of vaccines and a health certificate from our local veterinarian. We handle him seperately several times a day. Please check out our small bio's we have for her parents to get an idea of what he could look like once he has matured.
LEO
Born 12-5-16. Leo is the second largest male. He is almost all Blue with White Highlights. His belly and chest is white. He has he least amount of Pearl color. He has some Pearl color on the side of each of his cheeks and some on the inside of his back legs. He has a white stripe that goes from one front shoulder to the next. His estimated full grown weight is 13-15 lbs. His dewclaws have been removed and his tail has been docked. He will come with his first rounds of vaccines, and a health certificate from our local vet.
Female
12-5-16. Pocket is one of two females. She is the smallest female and the smallest of all the puppies. Her body is moslty White with some Blue and Pearl tri-colors. Her face is almost completely Blue. Her estimated adult weight is 8-10 lbs. Her dewclaws have been removed and her tail has been docked. She will come with her first set of vaccines and a health certificate from our local veterinarian. We handler her seperately several times a day. FIONA
ADOPTED
Born 12-5-16. 1 of 2 Females. She is the larger of the two. She is moslty Blue with Pearl and White Tri Colors. Her belly has a small stripe of white and the rest is blue. Most of her chest is white with some pearl and blue. Her dewclaws have been removed and her tail has been docked. She will come with her first set of vaccines and a health certificate from our local veterinarian. We handler her seperately several times a day. TUCKER
Champion Sire
We adopted Tucker from a breeder who dates back to the 1900's. He is from a large line of Champion and Grand Champion Show dogs. As you can see in his face he doesn't look like most Rat Terriers. He is high energy but listens to our commands very well. We were able to teach him at a very young age to sit, lay down, high five and spin in less than a week.
LIZZIE
Pure Bred Mother
Lizzie was adopted from a small family breeder out of Colorado. She is a pure bred Type A Rat Terrier. She weighs approximatley 11 lbs. Her coat is moslty Blue/Indigo which is why we chose her. The Blue/Indigo color is very rare for this breed. It is also very uncommon for a rat terrier to be one solid color. Lizzie is mainly indoors. She is very laid back and has no problem sleeping most of the day. She has never been sick or had any diseases or ticks.
SIBLINGS FROM LAST LITTER
Maxwell and Sophia
Sophia is the full Blue one and Maxwell is the full White one. We noticed their ears started standing up around 2 months old. They were born healthy happy and both seemed very intelligent. Maxwell was adopted first and we kept Sophia longer and were able to train her to sit, stay, and spin. We also began to potty train her. We use all natural chicken treats to train our dogs.
PET FEEDING
We feed all our dogs Blue Buffalo Wilderness food.
